Method
What the VERIFIED stamp means
A card is stamped only when every number on it has been counted, rebuilt by a separate query, traced onto the image and approved by a person at GoodStream. That is our own pipeline and our own editor, not a third-party audit, and we publish exactly what it checks.
You will only ever see the first. The second is what our pipeline shows when a number fails, and that card never posts.

The latest version of each document, with flagged values left out. Nothing is surveyed or self-reported.

Held to floors
At least 20 companies across 5 customer workspaces, no workspace above 25%, and a 30-day lag on terms data.

Rebuilt separately
A second query, written apart from the first, rebuilds every figure, including any in the closing sentence. Shares round to whole percents, or one decimal below 10%.

Traced onto the card
Every number on the image is tied back to the database, and the drawing is checked against it: bar lengths, square counts, dot positions.

Approved by a person
Someone at GoodStream reads the post and the card together before anything ships.
What stops a post
A figure that does not reproduce. A sample below the floors. A number a knowledgeable reader could use to identify a fund or a company. A drawing that does not match its number.
What a Fine Print number is
A description of portfolios on GoodStream, not the whole market, with the sample and date range on every card. Data, not advice, and never a ranking of funds.
The rules
Aggregated, anonymized and lagged. Every time.
No personal data, no names
Fine Print never shows personal data, and never names or implies a fund, firm or portfolio company from customer documents.
Floors, or it does not publish
At least 20 companies across at least 5 customer workspaces, and no workspace above 25% of a sample.
A 30-day lag
Terms and pricing data publish at least 30 days after the documents arrived, with the date range on the card.
Your data is your data
A customer document is only ever part of a count under these floors, never shown, quoted or named, and any customer can exclude its workspace from every future count at legal@goodstream.com.
Security
GoodStream completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination (Security criteria).
LLMs will never train on your data.
Encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher, and at rest with AES-256. The report is available under NDA.
